How to Become Part of UUFCM?
If you’re wondering how to deepen your involvement in this community of faith, the Pathway to Membership at UUFCM is a three-step process:
An introduction/orientation to Unitarian Universalism* as a faith tradition, along with an overview of our fellowship’s history and journey.
A session that explores more deeply the expectations and blessings of membership and participation in shared ministry.
The “signing of the book,” celebrated as part of a new member welcome during a worship service
*Even if you already have a strong understanding of Unitarian Universalism, the first session provides important background on the history and culture of this congregation.
"Welcome to UU" Orientation

Welcome to UU is designed for newcomers, visitors, and anyone interested in learning more about Unitarian Universalism and this fellowship. It is offered monthly, typically on the last Sunday at 12:30 p.m. Sessions run approximately 90 minutes.
Path to Membership Workshop

This workshop is intended for those who are ready to make a membership commitment to UUFCM. In this interactive session, we explore the deeper meaning and expectations of membership and shared ministry.
The workshop typically lasts three hours and is held on designated Saturdays. Depending on the size of the group, it may be shorter. Refreshments and childcare are provided. Please let us know at least one week in advance if you will need childcare.
New Member Celebration

New members are welcomed and recognized by the congregation several times throughout the year during our 10:30 a.m. worship service.
